The purpose of the Extended Care Program is to provide safe, quality after school care for the children of St. Anthony School, grades K4 through 8. The program is under the direction of the school principal.

 

Ms. Katie Poshek, will be responsible for the running of the program. The environment and the program will provide some activities that will stimulate the child to grow in self-esteem, self-expression, Christian values and reinforce school learning. The program will be staffed with one or two certified teachers, depending on the need. The children will be expected to spend 30 minutes of quiet/homework time.

11:00 a.m. to 5:30p.m.

Days of Operation

The program will be run on all full school days. Extended Care will not be held on days when school is not in session. There will be no Extended Care on snow days, regularly scheduled holidays, teacher conference days or early dismissal days.

Registration

A $30 nonrefundable fee per family (used for administrative and billing costs) will be charged. Please fill out the registration form and send it with the registration fee to the school office.  All families that use this program must be registered. Once you are registered, you will receive an enrollment packet. 

Admission

Only children enrolled at St. Anthony Parish School are eligible. Upon the discretion of the principal and/or director, and after reasonable effort on the part of the program staff to integrate a child into the program, a child's participation may be terminated if that child is deemed chronically disruptive to the functioning of the program.

Scheduling

It is vital that the weekly planning sheet and payment be submitted by Thursday, for the following week.
