7th Grade

I have been teaching in the Archdiocese continuously for over 35 years.  After graduating from Alverno College with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Creative Arts for Children, my first positions were at St. Hubert in Hubertus teaching third grade and art.  After additional education, I presently hold certification in K4-8th grade with an emphasis in Math.  This broad background has given me experience with the developmental process through which children process.

My many years at St. Anthony have been professionally challenging and personally fulfilling.  It is a blessing to have a top-notch junior high team, with colleagues who understand middle school students and their needs.  We collaborate on curriculum projects and enrichment activities.  The middle school staff works hard to develop young people who live out their Christian values and are independent learners.

The subjects I teach are: math for grades 6,7 and 8, science for grades 7 and 8, and religion for grade 7.  In addition to classroom teaching, I am responsible for the science fair, an annual 8th grade raffle for charity, Trees for Tomorrow, interscholastic academic competitions, Fine Arts Day, and the 8th grade leadership Mass.  I have served as the teacher liaison to the School Board for a number of years, and play music with the school liturgical choir.
