Financial Aid

As part of our Catholic tradition, we believe that all children and their families should have access to a quality Christian education. We have intentionally kept our tuition at a rate to help ensure that any child and his/her family that have a heart for excellence and learning will be able to choose St. Anthony Parish School. To help make this possible, we do offer financial assistance to families based on financial need.

St. Anthony Parish School Endowment Fund
The St. Anthony Parish School Endowment Fund was established to provide financial aid for families needing assistance to meet tuition payments for Catholic Education in the parish or day school programs. The Endowment Fund will give families either a NO INTEREST loan or grant for the current school year. The loan is a no interest loan that may be paid back at a later date, and paid directly to St. Anthony School Endowment Fund. If the family cannot pay back the loan it converts to a grant.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The family must be a registered member of St. Anthony’s Parish prior to applying for aid through the Endowment Fund.
  • The student(s) must be accepted for enrollment in the school by the principal. This is to assure that the school is capable of meeting the academic, developmental, physical needs of the student, and the enrollment policy of the school.

Applying for Financial Assistance
To qualify for financial assistance, you must do the following by July 30.

  • Completed Financial Assistance Application
  • Provide a copy of last year’s Tax Return
  • Make an initial appointment with the principal
  • Meet with the pastor

Procedure

Upon receiving your application and copies of your most recent Tax Returns, the following will occur:

  • The application will be reviewed b the Pastor and Principal, and they will make the final decision.
  • The Pastor will communicate the decision to the family. The School Endowment Fund Loan/Grant agreement will be documented and signed by the Pastor and the family. The agreement will be retained in the parish office. This application will be for the current school year only. Families need to re-apply each year on a need basis.
  • The loan will be a no-interest loan, however, the families are asked to re-pay the amount loaned to them by August 15 of the academic year in which the loan was granted. If families are unable to repay the loan, it will be considered a grant.
  • Families must inform the Principal by July 1 of the academic year in which the loan was granted if they are unable to repay it.
